Question: What is a "New Basic Key"?
Answer:
A New Basic Key is a code that may be used to activate Foxhound Version 5 as a Basic Edition copy after
-
installing a fresh copy of Version 5 (without upgrading from an existing copy of Version 3 or 4), or
-
upgrading an existing copy of the Version 5 Rental Edition.
The "New Basic" and "New Extended" prices apply to fresh installations of Foxhound 5 where no previous
Foxhound database is available to be read by the Foxhound 5 installation process.
You can purchase a New Basic Key here:
Note: If you are upgrading from an existing copy of Version 3 or 4, you should be using a "Basic Upgrade" and "Extended Upgrade" key.
You can use a "New Basic Key" or "New Extended Key"... it will work, but you'll be paying too much.
If you do that by mistake, you can ask for a refund of the price difference... just send an email to
Breck.Carter@gmail.com.
